A 90-minute taster session offers a basic introduction to mindfulness theory and practice covering:

  • What is mindfulness and what benefits does it offer?

  • Scientific background

  • Opportunities to experience simple practices

  • Guidance on how to establish a regular mindfulness practice 

  • Tips on bringing mindfulness into your day-to-day life.  


Mindfulness should no longer be considered a “nice-to-have” for executives. It’s a “must-have”:  a way to keep our brains healthy, to support self-regulation and effective decision-making capabilities, and to protect ourselves from toxic stress.

MINDFULNESS for Beginners - 4 week Course

This course consists of four 1-hr sessions and introduces participants to the practice of mindfulness and its potential benefits. It is science-based, highly experiential and offers a range of practical skills to build resilience and cultivate wellbeing.  Participants have the opportunity to experience a range of mindfulness practices as well as receive guidance on how to embed mindfulness into their daily lives. Resources and tools for establishing a regular and sustainable mindfulness practice are emphasised and participants receive a 50-page workbook and have free access to guided audio recordings to use in ongoing practice. Being able to practice at home in between sessions allows participants to reflect on, discuss and embed their learnings, which greatly increases the likelihood of establishing an ongoing practice. Best suited to between 10-20 participants.

Workplace 8-week MBSR Course

A deeper dive into mindfulness practice, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the world’s most popular mindfulness programme, developed by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. It has over 30 years of research demonstrating its effectiveness for reducing stress, managing chronic pain, lifting depression, settling anxiety, improving sleep, calming emotional reactivity, increasing the capacity to think clearly and developing a greater sense of aliveness, connection & purpose in life. This highly experiential course covers awareness training, exploration of how to transform patterns of thinking, feeling and action, as well as scientific rationale for the practices taught each week. Each session is 2 hours long which consists of brief lectures, discussions and guided experiential practices. There is also a full-day retreat after week 6. Participants receive a comprehensive workbook and access to audio recordings.

Best suited to between 8-16 participants. 


Mindfulness has become an indispensible tool for helping leaders engage in the complex, dynamic and fast-paced context of the 21st century. It has been shown to develop resilience, collaboration, and decision-making capacities. This course brings together cutting edge leadership education and practical mindfulness skills for the workplace.


Self-awareness and self-regulation are foundational capacities for effective leadership. The ability to understand yourself; your mind, patterns of thought and behaviour, your "filters" and assumptions, and how you use this information to make choices and take action is critical for leadership success. Mindfulness practice provides leaders with "meta-cognition" or the ability to notice their thoughts and intuitions with some perspective, and therefore have more freedom to choose informed responses over automatic reactions. Our Mindful Leader course emphasises development of these emotional intelligence capacities through establishing sustainable mindfulness practices.  This course can be fully customised to meet the specific needs of your organisation, however it is highly recommended to schedule sessions over a minimum of six weeks to achieve best results. Whatever the format, we recommend that participants undertake 15-20 minutes of daily home practice for six days of each week that the course runs. We provide workbooks and audio resources to support home practice.
